"I have been referring to my OneMind Dogs moments as "light bulb" moments. Although I've been involved in dog agility for almost 15 years, I have had some moments of clarity using OneMind Dogs techniques which have been delightful!
From the very first day of being a Premium Member and studying the methodology online, I have been fascinated by the description and use of the "Chest Laser". This might sound like a small thing, but it was an epiphany for me to clearly understand that the handler's chest pointing to the dog's line (and not just pointing towards the next obstacle) gives precise information to the dog. When combining the clear understanding of the Chest Laser with the "no hands" running I was given a tool which completely changed the way I now walk a course.
Again, perhaps to some handlers a small thing, but to me a huge change from relying on my hands pointing at things and now by walking courses without hands (as well as still practicing no hands running frequently with my dogs) I suddenly see different options for handling the sequences on course.
Understanding these "tools" of OneMind Dogs has made a huge impact on how I approach a course and on the connection created and maintained between me and my dogs on course. It blows my mind! In a good way!"
