Tandem Turn
9 lessons
Tandem Turn is one of the techniques that will turn your dog away from you. It is a very useful technique for handlers who are not always able to be close to the obstacles to cue a turn. When performing a Tandem Turn, both you and your dog turn 180 degrees together, facing in the same direction. The handler turns the dog on the flat, between the obstacles. Tandem Turn requires some basic teaching without obstacles, as turning away from the handler is not natural for many dogs.
This short course will give you an overview of a Tandem Turn from the very basics to the point where you get to teach it to your dog.
We recommend taking the Method #2 - The OneMind Dogs Handling Elements course first to get the most out of this course!
