Flip
6 lessons
Flip is a useful technique when you need to handle your dog past off-course obstacles while allowing you to stay ahead on course. The Flip is a combination of a Front Cross and a Blind Cross. It is executed on the flat, in between obstacles.
The Flip turns the dog away from a trap obstacle more effectively than for example a Reverse Spin. To be able to perform the side change in a Flip the handler needs to be at least 9 feet / 3 meters ahead of their dog.
This short course will give you an overview of a Flip from the very basics to the point where you get to teach it to your dog.
We recommend taking the Method #2 - The OneMind Dogs Handling Elements course first to get the most out of this course!
