star OneMind Dogs Instructor

Stacy is always handling to ensure her dogs’ safety on course. She is a fast runner when needed. Her handler goals are always to be moving ahead of her dogs to ensure she gives them the timely information so they can compete safely.

One of Stacy’s strengths as a handler is the ability to run different dogs of various heights with different drives over the course of the day. She is able to walk one course with those dogs in mind and plan her handling to suit each one. Stacy is passionate about training and making sure her dogs always train so they feel and know they have been successful. “I want my dogs to know they are always correct.” she says.

As an instructor Stacy is known for her enthusiasm, high energy and making all her training fun. She gives everyone 110% and is passionate about sharing as much possible each and every class. “I am always running slightly over, which my students love. I have an extremely generous nature often giving assistance for free, also giving free advice via online when needed from all my students from all of my previous seminars.”

Stacy has spent many hours promoting instructors and organising workshops and seminars. She has a very open personality which drives her to share all she can about the OneMind Dogs methodology. One of her goals is that after every seminar or training she has, her students write to her saying how she made them feel special, like they can do anything, and how they are motivated to continue their learning. Stacy can’t name one single favourite thing to teach, she loves all of it!

Stacy has been training Agility for 15 years and instructing part-time for 12 years. This year she is a finalist in four categories for the Hawkesbury Sports Award. She has five dogs from Papillons, Working Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie to Kelpie X BC. Stacy has gained five Agility Champion titles with four dogs. She has also achieved the ADAA Handler Awards of Bronze, Silver, Gold & Diamond for gaining 500 clear round cards during her trialing career to date.
