OneMind Dogs has helped Shirlee to become a better handler. “OneMind Dogs has taught me how to listen to my dog on course. I have also learned how I can communicate back in a language they understand.”

When Shirlee is coaching, she enjoys teaching foundation and building skills. “I love to watch the handler and their dog develop a balanced, harmonious relationship and grow as a team.”

Because of her own personal experience with challenging dogs, Shirlee has a soft spot for dogs labeled as ‘problem’ or ‘difficult’. “These dogs may take you on a detour or a different destination than planned, but if you believe in them they will take you where you need to go.”
