Robin Boeykens
place Wuustwezel, Belgium
star OneMind Dogs Instructor
Robin is a very determinate and passionate handler. She wants her handling to be perfect so she can be as clear as possible for her dog. “I have a very positive mindset that I love to share with my students and my dogs.”
As an instructor Robin likes to teach the entire group, from puppies to adult dogs. She loves being around the Agility ring and help people understand their dogs and get a better view on why they perform that way. “The moment people really can feel the connection and become one as a team gives me an awesome feeling.”
“From the day I was born I was overwhelmed by the love of dogs. As a young child I stood at the sideline of the field wondering over all those dogs who were training. When I became 11 years old I got my first dog, Suki, after we did many seminars, we got addicted to the Agility game. Nowadays I can't remember a day without my love for dogs. Suki and I had a bumpy ride, but eventually we finished our carrier as one team, as a dreamteam, an inseparable duo who understood each other blindly! With Suki my love started for Tollers, today I compete with my youngest girl, Emi, in the highest grade in Belgium and we love every second of our run! Emi was trained by the OneMind Dogs method and we can really feel the difference. Besides spending every free minute with my dogs, I also started teaching from my 15th, creating a better connection between humans and dogs is always my goal, no matter which sport they do.“
