Nicolaas got his introduction to agility through OneMind Dogs. “I picked up the method extremely quickly. I’ve really benefited from starting out my agility career with a consistent and natural handling system. I strive to learn every aspect of training and competing in agility to the best of my abilities.”

Nicolaas enjoys teaching all levels of handler and dog teams from novice to advanced. He is patient and encouraging and likes to make sure that people will get a benefit out of the training sessions. His favorite thing to teach is how you can handle a course with no hands when your other elements are communicating with the dog properly.

While Nicolaas is fairly new to agility and working with his first agility dog, he is already competing at the highest level in Australia after just two years. “I am a large guy and not fast, however by using the OneMind Dogs method, I can still stay ahead of my dog!”
