Le-Ann is a highly motivating handler who likes to develop strong playbased relationships with her dogs. Her strengths are in her abilities to connect with her dogs, to see things from their perspectives, to figure out what motivates them and to create drive. “I strive to be the best teammate possible for my dogs and to provide the clearest communication to them. I like handling fast dogs with speed and drive. I thoroughly enjoy everything about the training process and the working relationship that it builds with my dogs.”
As an instructor Le-Ann is positive, enthusiastic, energetic and supportive. She believes in teaching a strong foundation. Her strengths lie in her ability to motivate her students to have connection and positive relationships with their dogs. “I help my students to see their dogs’ perspectives, to trust and listen to their dogs, and to communicate clearly to their dogs in ways that the dogs understand. I am very attentive to the individualized needs of students and their dogs. I especially like to assist students with problem solving when presented with individualized training challenges.” Le-Ann teaches agility full time in Northern California, USA.
