As a handler Laurie’s focus is on connection, clarity and consistency. That's why she finds OneMind Dogs as a perfect fit. “My passion is understanding my dog well enough to be a team, equal halves that complete each other” she says.

As an instructor Laurie wants her students to understand the What, When, Where, Why and How. She wants to give them the tools to confidently make decisions that are best for their team. When asked about her favorite thing to teach, her answer is: “all of it, I just love the light bulb moments on both ends of the leash!”
