When Kati is handling, she is very keen to make everything crystal clear for her dog. She trusts her dog and enjoys the flow on the course. “My strengths are my passion for techniques, course reading, competing and teaching - loving the feeling of succeeding and seeing others achieve their ultimate best,” Kati says.

“My handling has changed so much thanks to OneMind Dogs. I love to run, be courageous and make my handling moves in time to my dog. This path has so many opportunities!”

As a coach, Kati’s goal is to make her students understand why they’re doing something. “Sometimes it’s easy and other times it might take a while. I love to watch people learn and be precise with the way they handle their dogs. Happy handlers and dogs are worth working for!”

“I enjoy teaching the whole package; techniques and course reading, situating oneself to the right place, etc. I also pay a lot of attention to people’s well being while training. Confident handlers make confident and fast dogs.”

Kati wants to learn more about mental training in order to become a more comprehensive coach. She loves the Finnish word "sisu", which means perseverance and never giving up.

“I want to give my best to my dogs as well as my students and always find a way to make someone understand and learn, while having fun!”
