D Lynne Luckow
place Germantown, Wisconsin, United States of America
star OneMind Dogs Instructor
As a handler, Lynne strives to achieve the best possible line for her dog. “I love to see, and more importantly "feel" nice smooth runs with even cadence whenever possible. This requires fully utilizing the three C's between each obstacle and becoming "One" with the dog I am handling.”
Lynne tells that OneMind Dogs has provided Mental Training opportunities that have really helped to support taking the techniques on the road to the trialing arena. She loves to walk the course knowing how she will handle the course and seeing the plan unfold.
“The clarity I see in the dogs is heartwarming. There is no other way to achieve this joy than through OneMind Dogs!!” says Lynne.
As an Instructor, Lynne is very attentive to the students goals and aspirations. For her, there is no differentiation between her National Level Students and students who wish to simply enrich the lives of their dog with agility.
“I like to think that I learn along with my students as each training session has the ability to uncover new areas to train, or new areas to celebrate progression. Watching my students excitement when their dog does "the thing" seamlessly, almost like magic, brings a smile to my face! I listen to my students and adjust my training plans to fit the needs of my students.”
The one common thread in all of Lynne’s classes is having fun! “A full belly laugh is a prerequisite for all of my classes at Redline!!”
Lynne’s favorite thing to teach is timing. When the team is able to execute any technique in the correct time for that team, “not only is the dog’s path a thing of beauty, the handler feels calm, connected and great about their teamwork!!”
Lynne aspires to assure that each team, in each class, leaves feeling like a "Star"!
