Challenging yourself, getting out of your comfort zone and having fun while your at it. Those are some of the main things that bring OneMind Dogs coaches together.
OneMind Dogs coaches are known to love challenges also outside the agility ring. When they get together, almost anything ends up in a competition of some kind. It doesn’t matter if the challenge is a physical or a mental one, or just a funny game, everyone puts their heart and mind to it. Be it a kickbike ride with a Malamute, shooting with water guns, navigating a rally obedience course or performing a song as a pantomime performance, anything goes!
A group of OneMind Dogs coaches and handlers spent a fun week together organizing games and challenges for each other. Some activities involved the dogs, some didn’t.
One of the agility challenges was a course were the handlers needed to put on some funny clothes during their run with the dog. The more clothes you were able to put on before the finish line, the more points you gained. There were also some special obstacles on the course, for example a chair. The handler was supposed to sit on the chair while the dog crawled under it. In the end of the course it was the other way around: the dog got to jump on the table while the handler crawled under it.
What a fantastic week with so much laughter! It’s amazing how much imagination, creativity and passion you can have in a small group of people!
